The attorneys at Trible Law Offices have handled hundreds of personal injury matters. If you have been injured because of another person or company, you may have a claim for damages. We handle claims for personal injury as a result of automobile collisions, tractor trailer collisions, motorcycle collisions, premises liability (“slip and fall”), medical malpractice, wrongful death, products liability, and dog bites.
How Is One Compensated?
Compensation for personal injury is made by paying for economic and non-economic damages. Economic damages are damages you can put a number on—such as past, current and estimated future medical bills, property damage, lost wages, prescriptions, medical devices, mileage to and from the doctor’s office and other expenses actually incurred because of the other person’s actions which caused your injury. Non-economic damages include pain, suffering and mental anguish, inconvenience, scarring, disfigurement and associated humiliation.
If you have been injured through someone else’s negligence, you have two years from the date of the incident in which to do something about it. After two years, you will be forever barred, with very few exceptions, from making a claim for personal injury. We would be glad to discuss a potential personal injury matter with you by phone or appointment.
